Natural Hair Care

Celebrating identity through self-care, the Natural Hair Care program empowers teens— especially girls—to embrace their heritage by learning how to style and maintain natural African hair.

Sewing / Tailoring

Equipping youth with sewing skills not only allows them to fix and design clothes but also opens doors to entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency.

Storytelling & Folktales

The foundation of African knowledge systems lies in its oral traditions. This programrevives storytelling through modern media by inviting youth to record or write traditional tales.

Cultural Dance & Drumming

This program taps into the rhythm and movement of Cameroon’s diverse cultures. Through traditional dance and percussion, youth express emotion, discipline, and unity.

Traditional Games & Sports

Traditional games like Ampe, Oware, and Mbube-Mbube teach strategic thinking, teamwork, and cultural values. By documenting and sharing how these games are played, youth contribute to cultural preservation while having fun

Public Speaking

Confidence in communication is a foundational skill. In this program, youth deliver short speeches or participate in debates on themes relevant to their lives and communities.

Agriculture Basics

This program introduces youth to farming through container gardening, backyard planting, or school plots. They learn food cultivation, soil care, and sustainability

Recycling & Upcycling

Here, waste becomes opportunity. Youth turn used items into useful products like toys, crafts, or tools. This not only encourages creativity but teaches environmental stewardship and entrepreneurship.

Gardening & Environmental Stewardship

Expanding on agriculture, this program focuses on beautifying spaces and understanding nature. Teens plant flowers or trees, learning about climate, soil, and plant care.

First Aid & Hygiene

Every young person should know how to care for themselves and others. This program teaches basic wound care, handwashing, and safety practices.

Financial Literacy

This program demystifies money by teaching budgeting, saving, and spending wisely. Youth simulate financial planning through challenges and online journals.
